AP Tests starting tomorrow...

Tomorrow kicks off another year of AP tests, so who is taking some? What are you taking? What do you think you are going to get? Good luck to you all.

lol at juniors. Well maybe some seniors but hey good luck guys. Don't sweat them too much they aren't that rough.

AP classes in high school are never quite as difficult as their college equivalents. As a result, many first and second year college students (particuarly those majoring in math or the sciences) are thrown into classes that are a little over their heads.

Very true. If you have the gonads, try taking real college courses at a local college.

U.S. Government, Calculus BC, and Chemistry.

Government starts in less than 8 hours for me, I'm slowly reviewing stuff right now (I know I know, I shouldn't cram, but whatever 😛)

I'm hoping for a 4, a 4/5 (I'm borderline on my practice tests), and a 5. I'm one of the few seniors in my class still studying. I really want to get GERs out of the way in the fall.

Im taking none. Ill take them all in JC

What a friend of mine did, pretty much cut about a years worth of classes through a couple summers at a JC.

All of my friends who are packing themselves with AP classes are getting flooded with busy work that HS gives you. I have time to work, go out, and even sleep. Im most likely to go to a JC anyways so i might as well take these classes according to my schedule later on.

I really wish I caught onto taking JC classes while in high school. I only took 2 because I figured it out way too late. I could probably have 4 or 5 under my belt going into college ...

I have Comparative Government and Politics in a little under three hours. I will probably get a 4 or 5 on it.

oh the good old days of AP. man those were awesome, you got to skip out of class pretty much for the entire day. woot!

Man, I wish I tried harder on my AP tests when I took them. On a majority of the tests, I got twos and a few threes. Looking back after taking the college equivalent of those classes I could easily pass those tests. Wish I paid more attention in HS.

English Language and Composition, aiming for a 4, Statistics, aiming for a 4, I think I can get a 5 and US History, aiming for a 5

So glad I'm done with that crap. The only benefit was giving me a year's credit in Chemistry (took OChem this year and skipped over GenChem) and I got 3 quarters elective credit from US History. I maxed out the rest of my credits (for a total of 10) with placement tests.

So how was the AP Gov test to those who took it?

Not too bad...very short, only like 2:20, and went by rather quickly. The multiple choice were so-so but the FRQ's were quite easy.

On Thursday I'm taking the AP English exam and on Friday our AP Studio Art portfolios are mailed out (prays that his slides are ready by then).
