It's plain that your hatred for Bush has metasticized not only into a hatred for his supporters, but even more alarming is a hatred for America and its ability to achieve anything worthwhile. I know you'll whine "I didn't say that!", but I'm confident many others see through your words.
Yup. They sure do. And have for the longest time now.

From the above:

In the hours and days that followed, heavy bombing raids and thunderous artillery shelling turned Hussein's northern Jolan neighborhood into a zone of rubble and death. The walls of his house were pockmarked by coalition fire.

"Destruction was everywhere. I saw people lying dead in the streets, wounded were bleeding and there was no one to come and help them. Even the civilians who stayed in Fallujah were too afraid to go out,'' he said.

"There was no medicine, water, no electricity nor food for days.''

"U.S. soldiers began to open fire on the houses, so I decided that it was very dangerous to stay in my house,'' he said.

"I decided to swim ... but I changed my mind after seeing U.S. helicopters firing on and killing people who tried to cross the river.''

He watched horrified as a family of five was shot dead as they tried to cross. Then, he ``helped bury a man by the river bank, with my own hands.''

This is American Liberation???

yes....go study history. or if you're lazy and want the short-cut, watch Band of Brothers where they storm the Belgian? city. cept for the helicopters, didn't have that in WW2

Oh, and Al-Jazeera has been banned since August. The "freedom of the press" is only for government approved news.

Yeah, people who support the war love to claim how 'free' Iraq is now. Yet they seem to ignore things like this.

I'm sure they'd prefer it if Iraqis just bend over and take it up the as$ from the might 'liberators'. Yet, some Iraqis refuse this new 'freedom' that the liberators are bringing. Gee, wonder why? (No, actually, I don't. So don't bother taking this part out of context) They also love to claim how Saddam killed civilians. Well gee, guess what? So is this so called 'liberation force'.

This Administration and those who support it, have managed to pi$$ away the good will and help, people and countires all over the world gave them and their war on terror after 9/11, by invading Iraq. It's amazing really. They had pretty much EVERYONES support. But they choose to invade Iraq.

Oh well, now that they have invaded, one can only hope this doesn't blow up in their face, and that Iraqis will eventually be free, that is, once the 'liberation force' is done fuvking up their lives just like Saddam did. But at least one good thing has come out of this. Saddam Hussein is gone. That's always a plus (Well, maybe not for the human waste that fallowed him and killed fellow Iraqis).

P.S: Let it be noted that I do not support this invasion or Saddam Hussein. I had been hoping for a LONG time that the Iraqis would deal with that scum Saddam Hussein themselves. As freedom from within is always the best way. Imposed freedom rarely works. But hey, guess that didn't work out. So Iraqis are stuck between a rock and a hard place.

How about the comments from Iraqis themselves? I can't believe you are so uninformed, you really think they don't enjoy far more freedom now? What about religious activites Saddam barred from happening that routinely are practiced openly? What about the freedom of press, what about the freedom of access to the outside world?

Get real. You are making stuff up. What freedoms? If they look at us cross-eyed we murder them. What religious activities are you talking about? What freedom of the press? It is tightly controlled. We are "liberating" Iraqis into the afterlife. I hope we let some of them live to enjoy all their freedom.

t's a shame the insurgents have brought it to this.

There were no anti-American insurgents before Iraq was invaded under false pretenses. So the insurgents did not bring it to anything. The US created these insurgents.

The insurgents existed before...if not in Iraq they'd be in Chenya, southern Philippines, Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Saudia Arabia, Yemen, etc...

The insurgents exist because we invaded and occupy their country. If we invaded Saudi Arabia, the insurgents would be there instead. If we invaded Canada, the insurgents would be there. If we stop occupying other countries we do not have to worry about insurgents.
