seriously... have you seen how expensive bacon is? bacon has increased 300% in price in the last 18 months.

Cashflow isn't income, Fern, and you know that. The small business guy's money that goes back into the business is "expense" and not counted as "Income".

You obviously have no idea how business works. Buying inventory and capital expenditures is a form of re-investment into a growing business that has negative cash flow impact but could show high net income because they are not immediate expenses in accrual based accounting.

The fact is, the government has manipulated economic statistics, under both parties - from debt to unemployment to inflation.
