Aopen DVD-1648/AAP Where did it go?

When I put together my shopping list for my new machine I decided to go with an Aopen DVD-1648/AAP in black. That was a week or two ago and everybody and their brother had these things. However, now that I am buying my parts, I can't find anybody who has this thing in stock. It seems that Aopen has come out with a new model, DVD-1648/AAP Pro. I cannot find anyone who has the new one either. WTF? Does anyone know what the changes are with the new model? Have you come across anyone that still has the old one in stock? Or the new one for that matter?
