I am surprised that the motherboard was here when I came home. Newegg sure ship fast.
Noticed couple things I didn;t like about the board.

1) They only give you one Bios chip and the second socket is EMPTY!! They called it "user Optional" in the manuel for the second Bios chip.
2) Only give you 3 fan header on the board. I hook up 1 for cpu and the other for the NorthBride fan. I am only left with one for system fan!

For kicks, I booted into Bios and set FSB to 166FSb with everything at default and it booted @ 3Ghz.

Does MBM 5 work with this board?

Sure does but "Silent Tek" is really nice, give it a shot and you will like it. I don't have MBM installed on my machine.

I hit the wall at 160FSB with default voltages. I get the BSOD after the welcome screen for Windows XP. I am running at 156fsb now. Might be able to squeeze couple more fsb at default.
