Aopen 12x10x32 PROBLEMS!! Please help! (win2k blue screen = "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" error)

Hey guys

just bought an AOpen 12x10x32 (new--retail box)

The computer (win2k) detects it as a cd drive.. but the CD drive (door) WONT open.
Edit:
I Changed one of the jumpers on the back (that I was originally tampering with, so problem solved)


Now,
If i'm lucky, once or twice I have been able to get into Nero 5 (That came withe the burner) and not have a complete FREEZE.

Other times, after opening nero, I get the Win2k Stop screen stating a "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" error!

I have tried changing the Burner from the secondary IDE to the primary... same problem.

Could this be win2k? I have no idea as to what to do.

See if there is a firmware update and drivers for Win2k - I got this BSOD with the factory G450 drivers and downloaded newest ones and that solved it.
