AOL Releases Search Queries of 650k Users w/o Permission

If you read the article it's pretty clear they were, however; as the article also states many will search for their own name among other personal information. Put it all together and you can pretty much know everything about them.

Who knows, but the people were under the assumption that their data was private. They were wrong.

I think this whole thing has been overblown, but talk about a bad PR move by AOL. Someone is losing his/her job.
