hmm, i'm getting AOL DSL in a few weeks. so i will have AOL DSL as my secondary broadband connection and cable for my primary broadband connection. so we will see how good or bad AOL is in a few weeks.

OMG AOL IS MADE FOR LPEOPLE THAT DONT KNOW HOW TO USE COMPTUERS RIGHT AND IT COMES WITH SHI[Y PCS LIKE DELLS ( DUDE UR GETIN A DEL!!!) AND COMPAQS AND HEWLET RETARTDS I HATE AOL MAN IT SUCKS.

AOL is just as fast as any dialup ISP I have ever used, you are free to use IE, it has a pretty decent e-mail client, busy signals are rare, disconnects happen, but that happens on any dialup ISP. AOL is not the devil. Just because it isn't designed for tweakers and hackers like yourselves doesnt mean it's horrible.

AOL does suck. What's with people trying to defend it? Have they ever used a real ISP?

I used AOL for a year or so, and I have some free time right now I'm using. It still sucks just as much as it did before.
