AOL needs to die!!

[IHAVEAQUESTION]

I made a mistake by installing icq a few months ago, it automatically installed a AOL shortcut on my desktop, ever sincce then I've been trying to delete it but to no avail
I have no idea why it just wouldn't go to the recycle bin!!
