AOL IM text color

Is there a way to add the multi-colored fading effect in the text for instant messenger? I know you can do this for AOL, but is there a program to add this functionality to instant messenger.

Not that I know of. The faders get old fast anyways. If you really want one, search for Text Fader on Yahoo or WebCrawler or something like that.

Correction: faders are already old. I remember seeing them back in 1997 and thinking how stupid they were. They've only gotten dumber now, cuz every AOLer has one.

I mean that they get old to the user. I remember having one two years ago in 6th grade
