AOL and IE problems

I know that just having AOL is the biggest problem but my buddy is having trouble with his IE and aol.com website. When he goes to the site it's fine. When he enters his username and password and clicks "Sign On". We get a *click*click*click*click.......... like the page is being refreshed a mile per minute. Just like would happen if you kept on clicking the refresh button. In order to bypass this he says he has to delete cookies and delete internet files everytime he opens a new browser. And if he closes the browser he has to go through this process everytime. Anyone have any ideas on what's going on. So far it's only this site, might be something with the security of signing in? Thanks!
 
Well it might not even be an IE / AOL problem. I have even run into similiar problems like this with it ending up to be the mouse. Just looking for some options I can send his way. Bump!
 
No, no joke. If you're on AOL I'm pretty sure you'll get a 404 if you come here.

You might try this: Internet Options, Privacy Tab, Edit Button & add that one site by hand.
 
nope, you are bannd when using AOL...

i tried it from my dads, you can log in and view all of teh forum that you want to, but when trying to post you cant.

I had a simliar problem on a similar form type web site. It turned out the enter key was really sensitive.
 
It's not my computer, I would not have that virus on my computer. I saw others go through the AOL problems earlier with Win95 where you could not un-install it and it would not let you use other services.
