I'm having issues. It will not run the game, saying my Direct3D cannot initialize. Anyone else having these problems? I'm running a 6800GT on 77.77 forceware drivers.

just finished the single player, it seems pretty good. I thought the exploration of the Americas was a good idea and it seems to incorporate a few features which are different enough to warrant purchase (home cities, persistent upgrades, nice graphics)

I think the original AOE Trial was my very first trial version of a game EVAR! I was addicted to that game like crack and eventually purchased it, along with the other AOE games (I still need the AOE II Expansion pack )
