Would anyone else like to see an age of empires 4? I personally would love one! Age of empires 2 was by far my favorite strategy game! I would love a overhaul of their system, keep the best elements and then introduce some new ones, maybe take some inspiration from some other awesome strategy games!

Didn't notice my bad haha thanks for the correction! So were you saying console wouldn't be interesting or PC wouldn't be?

We're saying real-time strategy games, almost as a universal rule, are an abomination on consoles. Its been done here or there in the past, but is so vastly inferior to the PC, and more specifically its input, that is just not something even worth discussing.

Would you play a sports game or fighting game you could only play with a keyboard? Exactly.

As far as AoE itself goes, I think the genre has evolved. I've been with the AoE series since the first, and that style of RTS game, which used to be so common, has shriveled up. There's still a few, like Starcraft II or Company of Heroes, but series like Total War and SoaSE, or even Cossacks and Civilization, have just supplanted it.
They could do it, but they'd likely have to reinvent the gameplay while doing it, or simply rely on nostalgia to carry it.
