AoC: the skill points you can assign... can they be reset?

Surely no developer would leave this out in today's market. It's basically a staple now since everyone knows forcing people to start over because they made stupid decisions early on is a good way to lose a player and $15/mo.

Yep, actually did a feat respec the other day on my bear shaman, moving from Spirit to Wrath for leveling before I spec back at 50 for the stamina regen. Costs seem to scale up quickly, but I have no idea past the second respec and whether or not there is a final cap on respec costs. I'd assume there is, though. Each city has a trainer who'll reset your feats. I used the one in Old Tarantia, she stands right at the bottom of the stairs to the Temple of Mitra (I think that's what it is. Anyway, big stairs that aren't the library).

First respec was 50 copper, second respec cost will be 2 silver, 75 copper. I'm guessing the cost will end up similar to WoW, i.e. not something you want to do every day, but cheap enough that you can experiment when you want to.

yeah, i heard you can reset them...

you really neeed to save them for certain points. for example climbing.

Yeah, I was actually confused myself when I first answered the question. Better answer: both feats and skill points are resettable. The feats you can respec at the trainer as I mentioned, the skills you can actually reset from within the character screen. Just mouse over the skill you want to reset, and it'll show how to do it. It mentions a cost, but I have no idea how much it is or any other specifics of the skill reset.

as for feats, i do not believe you can reset them...there's a class that's more "forgiving" for making bad choices... i read somewhere.

SKILL RESPEC

1. Hit P to bring up skill list.
2. Hold down ALT and left click on the skill you wish to get rid of.
3. Confirm the skill respec
4. Add the points back to wherever you would like.

FEATS

In each major city their are NPC's that will wipe your advancement tree for you. All that you do is talk to them confirm the wipe and pay the small fee.

Tortage - Feat Fixer - On the Docks
Khemi - Zahra - [Trainer] - On the Docks
Old Tarantia - Minerva - [Trainer] Base of the Temple of Mitra

Another question, how do I claim the items from my preorder? I entered the key already on the funcom site.

And is there a site that shows the feat trees for each class? I'm an AoC newb. I didn't get into the beta and have only played a few hours so far.

Yes, and it acknowledged the preorder code on the funcom site.

/claim has had some serious issues with a lot of players, check the official forums for details and help. Funcom support will also provide help.

Luckily it worked for me but I know many who were affected by the bug.

After re-entering my game key and preorder key several times it worked.

Warning about respec your feats...

there is a big bug in the game
don't respec your "feats" if you have gathering/crafting skills. You will loose all your gathering/crafting skills you've earned & won't be able to retrain from the trainers since they won't give you the quests again.
