Her office is located in a building directly connected to the capital dome. I haven't really listened to everything she said, but my understanding is she claimed to have had an encounter with a capitol police officer which frightened her, but nothing came of it. I don't think she claimed rioters got near her.

Also, I would point out that it's understandable she in particular was afraid, given the amount of violent rhetoric which has been aimed specifically at her by the far right.

The group that stormed the Capitol was dominated by Trump supporters. Many of those who've been asked have said, on camera, that they were doing what they thought Trump wanted, including people who wanted to kill Nancy Pelosi and "hang Mike Pence." It couldn't be any clearer who was responsible, and it definitely wasn't "non-fascists."

Simply accusing AOC of the things Trump did doesn't make your claims true.

I've been thinking, and I realized your personality could be summed up in two words: moral cowardice. When you see actual abuses of power, when you see Trump trying to overturn an election with false claims and even pressuring officials to violate the law, you can't bring yourself to do the right thing and condemn it.
