Indiana, maybe 15% of people wear a mask.

It's not like she made a real mistake, rather it is a public image mistake. Thing is... she is young and likely cannot imagine all the ways her opponents will view her. Even an older and experienced "super predator" like Hillary Clinton couldn't quite read the tea leaves. Which is certainly not just a Democrat problem.

I have not lived through much of a lockdown or restricted life style these past two years. I do not truly know what life is like in those big blue cities or states. I imagine, but I cannot know. Have Democrat policies against COVID enraged and angered masses of people? Is the leadership flaunting the rules a grievous error?

Perhaps this topic should not be about AOC, but in how the policy they cannot consistently follow is actually terrible in-itself. Perhaps it never should have been pursued with such zeal if one can simply disregard it to go on vacation with the comforts of a Republican-lead restriction free paradise. If they cannot follow the rules, perhaps the rules were a mistake and we should ponder a topic of how harmful the crusade against COVID was for the next election. If they really did make peoples lives hell and breed resentment.

Wonder where a poll would place the general public on such issues.
