The attempt at free/fair/peaceful elections had already failed disastrously. What would AoC suggest to rectify that situation?

Dude, the president resigned because the military told them to. It’s perfectly reasonable to call that a coup. Once again you’re calling people dumb for saying correct things, haha.

The thing is that coups aren’t inherently bad! If the military ousted Maduro that would surely be a coup but if they did so to remove a repressive dictator it could be a good thing, similar to some cases in Africa.

Point to one poster in this thread how is "supporting Bolivia's administration". We're just correcting you calling other people dumb for using the correct definition of what a coup is. Maduro needs to go, but if the military told him to resign and he did then it would be a coup as well.

Unless and until the authorities (military/police/senate) announce new elections, the coup is a coup. I think their Senate leader just declared herself President (according to laws of succession) despite not having the quorum present to approve it. Would probably be in the best interest of the country to announce elections within 90 days.

Reports say he resigned after "pressure from the army". Sounds like a coup to me.

Incidentally, coups aren't necessarily always seen as bad. They are sometimes popular. Lots of countries have had constant coups because their political classes are so corrupt that people can see the military as an improvement. (Not an optimal solution when it keeps happening, of course)
