Anyway to reset the times I can change

technically, it is counted in the firmware. therefore, there are firmware cracks that will let you reset or even disable the region protection. need more info. we need exact model of you dvd drive.
 
I know that you can do something to the firmware to let you play any region discs. But it's never really bothered me, since my set-top DVD player is region free. 🙂
