you need a card that has a Video Input on it

most TV tuner cards do as well as the ATI AIW cards, dont know about the BFG 6800GT

Are you asking for the emulators or directly connecting from the console to the monitor?

You can, however, hook up your monitor to your consoles, they do make something like that, havent seen it or cared to look it up in quite some time though

I have a modified cable that lets me run progressive scan on my monitor for gc. Goes straight from the gamecube to my monitor. It was 50$ from a website in hong kong. Very very sweet.

In terms of emulators, a GC emulator exists called dolphin and there is currently no working ps2 emulator. The most advanced one is pcsx2 which is currently still in development

I thought the Dolphin emulator didn't really work. It could only play some demo videos...or did they make more progress?

GC only (the connection for ps2 is different) I will try to find the website when I get home.

my GF4 Ti4200 had an in/out on it, and I had my PS2 hooked up VIA S-video and played Gran Turismo 3 on my PC monitor... that would suck if a 6800GT did not have video in.. I thought most mid-high end cards did....

Video in would only be on VIVO cards AFAIK. Why would a non-vivo card need an input?
