Anyway to make my windows track pad work like a macs?

I'm just wondering if any modifications allow me to have this lovely mouse feature on my windows computer. As I understand it macs achieve this through software not hardware.

Humm, a lot (if not most) laptops I've messed with if you run your finger down the right side it'll scroll down. Same for up. Some do side to side. A lot of them have the little indicators, but some it's just a software function and no label on the trackpad indicating you can do it.

Yeah I'd seen that some laptops have that area designated, I guess I didnt know that some laptops that didnt even have the markings would do this as well.

You may even be able to assign it as a mouse gesture if it won't work on the particular notebook you are looking at.

Not likely. I'm happy to be able to click by tapping the mousepad under Linux.
