Anyway to make my HP OfficeJet v40 work with server 2003?

I hate to post in OT when this is too on topic for something else, but im in serious need of asap response. I need to print checks from this server and would greatly appriacte it for all help. I installed the Windows XP Software and Drivers for my OfficeJet v40 and i keep getting that it's not compatable with the current OS. Anyone know what to do?

You could try 2K as well, b/c you have nothing to lose at this point.

Uninstall the drivers, turn off the printer, unhook the usb cable from the computer.

reboot the PC, install the HP drivers, and when it tells you, hook it to the PC, turn it on, and continue..

Should work.
