Anyway to insulate my car from Road Noise?

cant believe people are recommending dynamat for sound deadening. dynamat does squat to lessen road noise. You need ensolite foam (or something similar) for that. Dynamat reduces vibrations when the beat hits...keeping the music sounding clearer.

oh and dont waste money on dynamat. Raammat is the same thing but much cheaper.

Some cars will have more road noise than others, and there really isn't much you can do to correct it.

It's possible that the tires that you have on there are exceptionally noisy, but other than that there isn't much you could change that will affect this.

My lincoln has very little road noise, most of the noise you get is wind. It's still a very quiet cabin, and the wind noise is probably due to the boxy shape of the thing.

in order to properly do the job youd have to rip out carpet, seats, etc. dynamat/foam junk floors, etc. too much $ and time unless you got both.

Actually, I think my tires are fairly well regarded.

Goodyear doesn't make that tire ...they are quiet though the ones you are talking about...I had them previous to the F1 Assymetricals I just had installed Friday.

Not the quietest tire on the road though, quiet in it's class. My wife's ComforTreds are really quiet.

However; my suspension is mostly solid bearings and the like so I get noise.

I did 'dynamat' the entire car and added foam underneath noisy panels and it helped a lot.

For cell phone, use a jawbone...people will swear you are in your office even if you are doing 100+.

I just bought one a couple weeks ago. I can drive wth the windows down and the music halfway up and they don't know I'm not at home sitting at my desk.
