From with-in windows?
I'm trying to setup a dual boot with 2000 and XP.
I can't get 2000 to install from dos using winnt.exe so I thought I would install 98se on my Raid 0 array and then upgrade to 2000 Pro. Alas my 98se disk is too scratched to use. (well I DID finally get 98 to install on a spare drive, but not the raid array, I was going to install onto a small drive I had laying around, then use Maxtor to transfer the install to the Raid 0 array. When 98 started to finish it's install, I got a error and it wouldn't finish)
I want a simple clean OS install on my Raid 0 array for gaming only, and then use my other XP install for everything else.
But I'm having a HELL of a time getting either 98 or 2000 installed to the raid array.
When I try installing 2000 from with in XP it says I have a newer OS installed and it won't let me do much of anything.
Any work around that you know of?
