anyway to get sprint to pay for a new phone?

my contract ends tom. and i have heard all the ways to get more cheap minutes, but i care less about that ( i dont even use up my 2250 anytime, 500 peak minutes) but what i really need is a new phone, mines a piece of crap, but cant afford to go buy one of these new phones cause they are expensive...i have insurance, but if i use that its $30 and they give u the worst phone still being sold...
