This is such a weird problem - I disabled AIM autostart and AUTO-LOGIN but the damn thing starts everytime I load Outlook express! Weird, huh? How do I stop that from happening?

Thanks!

Thanks! That's such a weird feature! I mean, I would think that an netscape/aol app would do that but Outlook? Wacky! Messanger launching makes sense- but AIM???

I think it has to do with MS pretending to be less of a monopoly -- there's support for an integrated messenger in XP, and now you have the power of choosing either AIM or MSN Messenger.

That was my problem also. I couldnt get rid of it. I turned it off in Outlook too.

There was no way to uninstall it either.

I ended up re-imaging my C drive.
