The big toe is dislocated, so walking barefoot is a little weird, but if I'm wearing shoes, it's fine. I got into sport climbing a few years ago, and the only time it gave me trouble was when I had to put 100% of my weight on that toe.

I get a kick out of freaking out the nieces and nephew, so it's almost worth it. :D

Hmmm, y'know, you could try just keeping your hand in your coat - looks very Napoleonic, and chicks dig that (except for the 2 inch penis thing).

Wow, your funny

looking.

You should quit your regular job and become a comedian.

I got the little finger on my right hand smashed between the top and the bottom of a 1955 Nomad front seat when I was about 5, it's still all messed up. Though I would GLADLY give the WHOLE finger if my old man had KEPT the Noman and willed it to me! :(

Trust me when I tell you that you don't want to see the rest of my hand(s).
Mechanic's hands. I'm working on my own set of those. Thankfully so far I only have a few puncture scars and one or two all but un-noticealbe burn scars.

I'm going to agree with the others. If a woman is going to be interested in you, she's not going to be completely turned off just because of your nail. It's not *that* bad.

If you want to try to distract this potential woman's attention from that nail, try sprucing the other ones up. Let the nails grow a bit longer (you have them down to nub proportions). Flesh them out a bit (not too much, don't want to scratch anybody). Trim them so that they're not ragged or jagged, and maybe file them evenly.

I went to two plastic surgeons already and they said that nothing can be done, I don't believe them though, what do you guys think ?

Basically I chopped my pointer finger off right down the middle, I had it sewn back on but the finger nail is now in two pieces and is growing upward in the middle on both sides.

Whoa!! thats a nasty cut! :Q
The plastic surgens right, once your finger nails get cut on the cuticle portion (where it starts to grow), that sets the growth pattern of the nail. Other than replacing your finger with someone elses, theres no way to fix it!

It gives your hands character. :)

I don't think it looks that bad. Maybe over the years I've become desensitized to those kinds of permanent injuries (grandfather and father both work(ed) in a steel mill and I spent 4 summers in the melt shop).

Personally, if it does bother you for dating purposes, I would do what some of the other folks have already suggested...nail salon or some kind of alternative treatment (I'm still kinda baffled by the whole toe thing).
