Anyway to convince a couple friends to stop taking marjiuana?

I have 2 friends, they both do it. I try telling them that it will hurt them in the long run, etc. They think its "cool" and say "I' don't smoke it alllll the time. I've tried everything i can think of to convince them but they just won't listen. argh.
 
Buy them some weed, soak it in amonia for an hour or so, dry it out, then re bag it and hide it with their usual stash. That will either make them stop smoking it or kill them.

theres nothing a stoner hates more than people trying to tell them stoning is bad. let them figure out what they want by themselves

You have to ask, because you can't think of a legitimate reason or way to convince them. Y'know why? There really isn't a legitimate reason.

You're just uneducated on this like everyone else. It will hurt them in the long run? How, exactly, seeing as marijuana has no long term effects? All that crap about it reducing your sperm count is bull...that's only if you smoke the seeds...and you're not supposed to smoke the seeds lol. 😉

No long term effects, non-addictive, doesn't kill or harm brain cells...yeah...basically there's no real reason to not enjoy some mary jane every now and then.

I'm not here to try and change your mind about marijuana, though. Here's my point: If that's your friends' choice, then it's their choice. It's none of your business what they do, and if you have a problem with it, you have to decide between staying friends with them or letting them make those desicions for themselves.
 
I could be wrong but I don't think it is proven that their are long term damaging effects. I shadow at a few hospitals here and I've seen tons of crap related to drinking and smoking tobacco, COPD, Renal Failure, Emphysema, etc etc. I've yet to see anyone or anything their related directly to marijuana. Also anyone that says marijuana is a gateway drug is....uneducated and is like saying soda is gateway to alcohol/beer
 
That's about as likely as convincing me never to drink again.

Now, i don't know how much dope they are smoking, but moderate or minimal amounts isn't gonna screw their lives up.

I would go so far as to say alot of dope isn't going to screw their life up, but it might depend on the person and the strain of weed

Don't even try. Marijuana is one thing that really should be legal. Don't worry about it unless they start doing something else.
 
Where are they taking it? But really, don't be such a buzz kill man.. there are worse things they could be doing. "Gateway drug".. bah! I didn't start snorting coke and taking acid cause I was smoking pot, I did um cause they were fun and.. wait.. DOH!!!

if u did soak it etc, they would find out. someone like me, they would smell it to see if it gotten stail or is it some nice high grain stuff.

Aside from just flat out making you stupid if you take enough, there really isn't much of a problem.

And for those who say it doesn't are fooling yourselves. Just about anyone I've met who smokes pot on a regular is fried.

Just because you don't get cancer doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Just like it may not have happened to you, doesn't mean it doesn't happen to others. I'm not saying it's bad. It's your choice. I don't do it because I've seen plenty of the affects.
