Anything to stop balding?

Anyone else here losing hair (aka balding)? Do you take/do anything to slow/stop/reverse this?


I see that there are dozens and dozens of "treatments" for balding out there but I'm sure some are "old wives
tales" and some are from swindlers and some are probably dangerous....


Has anyone found anything that helps or works for them?

Do like i did, Just shave your head and get it over with. Besides, when you have a shaved head, women always want to touch it. Specially at the boobie bars.

I saw an infomercial once on some crappy channel and there was some revolutionary hair treatment thingie. Apparently all you have to do is spray paint your scalp the color of your hair and noone can tell that you are actually balding.

i know what you mean, but no, hair does not grow after death.

i'm currently on rogaine and propecia. i just started a couple of weeks ago, so i'll let you know how it works in 6 months. in the meantime, my hair is cut extremely close (haven't worked up the courage to shave it yet)

Popular misconception. Onset of dessication causes shrinking of the skin, giving the appearance that hair and nails are still growing.

but seriously though rogaine rarely if ever grows back hair just stops loss in a minority. propecia isn't much better.

and it doesn't work. at least for me, and i went all out on it. but other studies have shown that it's good shampoo/conditioner/etc, but it won't stop balding or regrow hair.

i think something like 30% actually regrew hair with rogaine, and propecia stopped hair loss in 83% of men. unless you're patrick stewart bald, there is hope. more answers can be found here
