Is there any programs that you can run to know specifics. I have a friend that lives two hours away and I wanted to know about her system before I came to tweak with it and get her extra parts. She knows less than I and would liek to explain how to do things in laymen terms. I wanted to know what kind of RAM she had. What mobo and the such.
I've been around computers but really don't know the ins and outs. Is there a forum specifically for noobs? I know you can run dxdiag for some stuff but not specifics like if it was using sd or ddr ram, stuff like that. Please help, it your advice will be much appreciated.
