It's only an hour's drive up to Denver. Seriously...at night...Denver is a pretty happening town, much to my amazement.

So far that does seem like my only option. Guess that means the company has to spring for a rental car!! :Q

Yup drive up here to Denver. Denver is fun. I'd tell you what bar I work in but... could be dangerous. :p

Depends on what you're into,

C.Springs is quiet compared to larger cities, but it still has some nite life.

The downtown area and Northern end of the city seem to have the most hyped
clubs right now. (The Underground, Mardi Gras, and American Beach Club).
A new IMAX theatre recently opened up on the East side. There have been
a lot of new restarants opening up too. Depending on what you are looking
for in entertainment, you might find it just as easy in C/S as in Denver.

Denver has the advantage of more space, larger population, more "prestige",
but it can also have the problems associated with more people trying to
do the same things you want at the same time.

How long are you gonna be staying?

The 16th Street mall in Denver is a lot of fun. Bars, restaurants, a huge theatre.

I remember a road right by the Adam's Mark hotel downtown that seems like it would have been a happening place at night. There were a bunch of restaurants and a few "upscale" bars.

Go to the Golden Bee pub at the Broadmoor hotel. They have sing-a-longs and yards of beer. It's a rare treat.

Ok probably not what your looking for but when I was there I visited the Olympic training center and Garden of the Gods. Both pretty interesting to me anyway.

CQuinn - I'll be there until Friday night. I think I'll check out those clubs you mentioned. I'm staying at the Adams Mark downtown so those should be pretty close.

Turkey said that there were some bars close to the hotel, those are probably the ones you were talking about.

As for Calhan, well, I think I'll pass on that one BigLance. And I'm gonna skip Croton's ditch near the school ....

Thanks for all the input!

Arright, who's got a big den in the Denver area?

Can you say "LAN party?" ;)

Hmmm, I might be able to arrange for a LAN party at my place, but you guys might not appreciate the parental company. :) I even bought a switch just so that I could run such a thing....

I don't know if a Wednesday or Thursday night LAN party would be much of a draw anyway ...
