Anything other than ATITool to check for artifacts

So far I have pushed my 8800GTX up to 669Mhz core /1100 Mhz memory (2200Mhz DDR), and with a few runs of 3dMark06 so far I am getting zero artifacts.

I have a Thermalright HR-03 Plus cooling this thing, and it hits about 50C on max load.

I have tried to run ATITool before but I get errors in Vista x64, and was wondering if just running 3dMark will do fine for checking for artifacts, or is there something else I should be using?

Thanks.

ATI Tray Tools also has a built in artifact scanner.

I could never get Tray Tools to pick up any though ATI Tool would only pick up artifacts untill my 1950xt got real hot.

Best way to test, in my opinion, is with playing your favorite game. And simply skip all the synthetic tests.

Did you volt-mod your GTX? That's a awesome overclock for an air-cooled GTX.

Nope, no volt mod or anything at all.

Just used the Thermalright cooler, with AS5 and the sticky pads for the memory was replaced with arctic silver adhesive.

I have been working my way up to this point with no issues, and all day I have been running 3dmark 06 tests and oblivion here and there, and no artifacts or anything like that. I was just wondering if there was some special program like Orthos specifically for stressing and testing a GPU.

Looks like the gaming/3dmark method is working fine though.
