Anything I should know about how to play VCD's?

I want to burn a VCD with Nero,and then play it on my PS2. Anything I should know other than it needs to be an mpg or an avi?
 
They also have to be a certain resolution - can't remember what that resolution is off the top of my head, though.

I don't think your PS2 will play VCDs.

If it does, then let us know. I've never tried but have been told it wont.
