anything good to eat in ATL airport?

2 hour layover at dinner time there tomorrow. don't really want typical fast food mall food court type stuff.

I just like to hit the bar places to get a couple nice $8 pints of peer and some bar food. I generally travel where I have a layover at the Detriot Metro Airport. Up until that stupid MI law earlier this year, the Detroit airport was awesome in that it had two places inside that allowed smoking. Nothing like killing a 2 hour layover with a smoke, food, and beer! 🙂

i imagine wolfgang puck is prob good, i ate at one of the Asian places in the philly airport that had sushi and other Asian food. was decent. they most likely have something similar there. and there is prob a localish place as well

you have long enough just walk around and find something

moving between terminals is pretty easy at ATL, you go underground and take a train

ATL is pretty good, except that it's ridiculously long literally ... bah! the food is generally good. there's a place near arrivals (forget the name) that serves really good home-style cooking and their soups are incredibly good

I ate at...crap I forget the name of the place. They had some low calorie $8 chicken sandwich though.

Sweet Water Brew House is in there, according to the airport website. That's an Atlanta brewery, and I happen to like their beer. Would recommend that. It's in B 10 according to the map.

i'll check it out. always on the lookout for local brews

Nature's Table in Concourse E is pretty good if memory serves me right. Honestly I traveled through their a lot and if I had to eat something...it was generally something quick and Popeye's, Checkers, Wendy's, Krystal, etc. Not healthy at all. I remember soem of my flights to Germany were out of Concourse E and I remember liking Nature's Table.

I went to their brewery last time I was in Buckhead. Would highly recommend the beer, any of it really. I like the Blue - has a little bit of blueberry to it. But if you're not into that, the 420, IPA, and Brown are all good.
