Anything better than Roku XDS for streaming?

For the $99 price tag I'm not seeing anything else that beats out the Roku XDS for the money and what services it supports.

Is there anything else out there I'm missing tha beats it?

I need Hulu plus, Netflix and Amazon Instant support.

Seems everything else either doesn't have the range of supported services or if it does cost way more.

I bought a apple tv 2 over the weekend and native support was to weak and even with trying out the jailbreak options everything beyond the limited native support required a windows computer with playon. I'm all Mac at my home and trying playon in a vm on my Mac mini just didn't cut it. It's to CPU intense and was causing all the streams to be so choppy they were unwatchable.

So that led me to setting the apple tv back to factory and returning it. Whatever I go with next, it must handle the interaction with the streaming services natively.

Roku is ideal for those who want to stream primarily from internet sources as long as there is a channel. It has the big paid channels Netflix, Hulu+, and Amazon (both VOD and Prime Streaming - hopefully Cloud Music Player will get added). Only vudu is missing. The free channels vimeo, medifly, crackle, and youtube are also there. For sports MLB, NHL, and NBA have channels (no NFL). I've also subscribed to MOG which is a 320kbps music on demand streaming service. There is even a channel to play the iTunes podcasts (the non-DRM ones at least). On the XDS model you can play your MKVs off a USB thumbdrive. It does lack proper DLNA but now that Plex is available on Roku, I don't see anything close at that price point.

For the technically inclined, you can create and add your own private channels for free (anyone can join the developer program).

Thanks for the input. I ordered a XDS from Amazon. Seems no local stores carry the XDS. What sold it was the DLNA support via Plex. It has everything I want out of the box but local media support.

Just what they call feeds/streams/scripts like playon/XBMC etc can do.
