My computer is kind of toasty. 63C toasty according to MBM, for system temp reading. Any ways to keep it from melting?

Yeah, my room has poor ventilation and air circulation, I touched my heatsink and was shocked by how hot it was. :(

It got so hot, I had to stop overclocking starting this spring. :Q

I had to slow my p3 600 down to 745 mhz, the fastest it will run at 1.65 volts. It was at 810. If I didn't run seti all day, it would have been fine.

yes, and having my AC busted isn't helping.
I took the cover off the case to keep it cooler

Used to be able to run dual 550, now I have to back it down to 412. This is with dual PEP66 even!

I broke down and bought a 6000 BTU air conditioner last week - mounted it in the window next to the main system, and ran a 4" dryer vent duct from the upper outlet of the A/C to the front intake fan of the tower . . .

Since I've slipped over to the "Dark Side", and I'll be swapping in a KK-266-R mobo with a 1.2 Ghz AXIA T-Bird, I justified the $190 as an "overclocking accessory" . . . :D

Peltier and a water block system would've been cheaper, tho' . . .
