I was wondering if you work for the federal government, can you order from the Dell Home store?

I do and yes you can.

In fact, you get better deals sometimes that way. But I did buy a computer for my sister through the Federal Employee program deal. It was much cheaper for them

I don't think I asked it right. I mean can I buy Dell computers from the Home store for Government use, not for me to use at home.

I'm aware of the Federal Employee "deals" but they can't touch the AT Hot deals in Home and Small Biz.

Basically I think it was a 15% discount on systems. Not that hot compared to the Hot Deals you can find.

Since I just paid taxes I get the impression I'm working for them at least in part.

So you've effectively contributed to my salary since I'm a federal employee.

Does that make you feel better, or worse? :p

LMAO! Doing your part to cut government spending? When I worked for Uncle Sam, we only ordered from Dell's Federal site. How are you going to pay? GSA Credit Card?

I'm more than happy to help pay your salary, Fausto. I like the services the Gov. provides and don't expect to get them free. If I didn't live in such a wonderful country, thanks in part to you, I wouldn't make the money I do to pay taxes on. I look at it like tithing to a church.

Thanks. I'll do my best to make sure you don't get SARS. ;)

Yeah, that's right. They know who to ask for the hottest deals! :D But I've never given away this source. Anyways, yeah, gonna use the card, so gotta stay under $2500. I can get the most for my money in the Home store.
