I would like to work out multiple times a day, i mean after work out one yea im tiny bit sore but feel like oding more after 6 hours of rest. I work out every other day in the morning, on off days i swim and punch the punching bag for a little bit. (not sure how bad that is for me to do i guess im suppose to be resting but?) damn i want to do more.

Use your off days to make sure everything's moving right - stretch, foam roll, massage, etc. I used to CF seriously and do 2-a-days pretty frequently... until I ran myself into the ground with injuries. Work hard during your workouts and use the extra time to make sure you're going to maintain the ability to complete those workouts.

To answer the stated question: yes. 3 times a week I do a circuit workout in the morning before I go to work. Then after work I run. Sometimes the runs are short and fast (say 5 to 7 miles) and other times they are medium distances (8 to 10 miles). I actually feel better during the runs on the days that I did a circuit workout. That's just my observation, experiment of one type of thing.

i used to til my body started breaking down. i'd work out 8-10 times a week (have a nice gym at work i went to for lunch). i'd do more cardio and high rep workouts at work, and actual lifting at my real gym i have a membership to. lately i'm happy if i go 3 times now. i was getting awesome results though, my joints couldn't take it anymore though. that and i have a bad back now, so i can't do that shit if i wanted to now.

Understand the difference between CAPABLE and OPTIMAL. Pushing your body to the limits of what it is capable of doing is not the same as training to an optimal level. AKA the least effort for the maximum gain. You'll find that increasing intensity has more impact on gains, long term, than increasing volume, although both should be cycled.

Sometimes, but I never do high intensity stuff with tired or sore muscles. I much prefer 1 high intensity workout followed by a full rest (of those muscle groups) to 2-a-days, though sometimes I like to mix it up just to keep it interresting. Depending on how intense your workouts are, I see no problem of working out twice in a day with plenty of nutrition and rested muscles.

Even when I do 2-a-days during a week, I never seem to go above 4-5 workouts a week total. The rest period is when you're making all the gains! Don't overdo it.

Like SC, I've also been in a rut (more than once actually) from working out too much and staying injured. I've learned my lesson there. Trust me, you'll stay more consistent and make better gains if you give your body plenty of rest. Of course, as you improve, you're able to do more, but the basic rules are still the same.

I will say that oddly enough, I didn't really learn to listen to my body (as far as when and how much to rest) until I started really paying attention to my nutrition and caloric intake.
