Cost + 10% is the employee discount.
Some items, such as cables you get a huge discount. Others such as Apple products you get next to nil. Simply depends how much an item is marked up.

Best Buy is cost + 5% for a lot of things from what I've heard from two of my friends who work at BB.

i dont know about fry's food, but there's grocery stores in arizona called fry's. guess he meant the same the thing. link

edit: going by its website address, yes it is indeed the same thing. pretty decent grocery store. i see one on just about every corner in yuma.

Went in to Fry's last week looking for a new case. Wow, I can't believe how far they've gone downhill from 15 years ago, at least as far as computer components. I used to be able to hang out in there for hours.
