Anyone work at EB games or have any clue...

How many games and DVD's plus my Xbox 1 it'll take to get a DS Lite?

I know they'll give me a lousy $40 for my Xbox, which is modded but didn't mention that to them.

I got about 5 games for the Xbox and a whole boat load of DVD's that I just don't care about anymore, but since money is tight for me right now I'd like to see what it'd take to get the DS Lite for no money out of my pocket and just straight trade-in's with the store credit they give.

Has anyone done this or have any clue what it'd take to make it happen?

im sure it depends on the movies you trade in. they probably give like between 2-5 $ for each movie. I know when you trade in games they don't really give you much for em in general.

don't expect more than a few bucks per game for xbox games and dvds. i got about 80 for my xbox and 5-6 games, and that's when they were giving up 50 for the xbox.

edit: for dvds see if there's a used cd shop in your area, they tend to give you more for movies in my experience, and they give cash.

Considering they'll give you like 4 bucks each game, and about 3 for DVD's, it's going to take about:

1 Xbox, 5 games, and about 24 DVDs, even more to cover sales tax and a game.

depends on what the games are. so games you might get $10 each and others you might get $2 each.

not sure how much they give for DVDs, proabbly less than the games.

i'd say its gonna take a good bits of games and movies + your xbox to make it no out of pocket cost. also don't forget that the DS doesn't come with any games so there's another $30 for at least 1 game.

eb games gives cash but they give you more for your games if you do store credit instead.

Sell on Ebay/Amazon marketplace?

Will take to long, gotta deal with shipping which is a PITA IMO.

But if I had more patience this would be a better route for sure.

It depends on the game. I saw someone trading in games and getting less than $0.60/ea. When I hit up that trade in deal for the new PS2, if it wasn't for the special promotion I would've gotten a total of $9 for 5 games. (instead of the $50 credit that I got)
