I don't think anyone with a passing knowledge of LordJezo would allow themselves to willingly be 2 degrees of separation from him.

Little bit of advice, if you are very ethical, dont be ethical on your ethics test, it will go against you. Too ethical and they dont want you, not ethical enough they dont want you either, so stay in the middle. Plus, they ask the same 5 questions over and over just in different wordings.

I proved to be to ethical for CC. Screw 'em.

Everything is at cost as said before.

Also talk to some lady, Freesia or something of the like. She works as CC.

Question: how old do you have to be to work at CC? I need a summer job badly (still don't have one, and need to make some money for beer next year in college), but I'm only 17. I've applied to a couple of places, but have had no luck, a few times because of my age. I wouldn't mind working at CC, I know a fair amount about computers and such, but I'm wondering if I should even waste my time driving to the store to pick up an application if I'll get automatically rejected because of my age.

I have 2 BA degrees and am working on my Masters with plenty of work and sales experience. So what else could it have been. No I do not have bad attitude.

Your a Fing moron, you do not need beer money, you need tuition and book money. You are 3-4 years away from being able to buy beer. Even then its a waste of money.

your education is the reason they dont hire you. Your over qualified and will jump ship once you get better offer.

Oh, you have to be employed for at least 60 days before you can start buying stuffs discounted.
17 yrs old is the minimum limit, not so sure though.

If CC doesn't work out, fun places to work at 17 are Blockbuster and any pizza place where you can deliver. Easy jobs, ok pay for that age I guess, and you might even have FUN at WORK. EEP!

I miss my old Pizza Hut job but I don't miss depending on tips to get by.

Exactly.. beer is gross. Get yourself some Everclear and make Jell-o shots or something :D

i THINK its 17. the cc i work at is in a college town so its mostly college students there.

i have no idea why they hired me - they know i'm graduating in june. i think they like me. :D

please don't choose a job based on the discount. pick one you'd enjoy working at or at least wouldn't mind working at. i know i don't ENJOY all the ferengi yelling at me but i like working there still.

Applied at Blockbuster- no response. Went to grab an application from Pizza Hut to be a driver- informed that I had to be 18, despite the fact that I hold a valid NYS license (non-junior). God, finding a job sucks.

what it cost the store = what you pay.

example: camera is 399, store paid 249, you pay 249.

(all hypothetical, i can't remember the markups at the moment)

That's what I thought the discount was as well, but someone else told me that I couldnt be right. So I guess it is true. Is there some type of upper limit? Like you can only buy $2000 worth of stuff at store discount or something like that? I figure there has to be or what would stop you from going buying crazy for all your friends?

Anyone know if this is the same policy for Best Buy as well? I was thinking of applying to BB or CC as part time since I'm in school going for my MBA. Anyone know of which one is better to work for? Opinions welcomed.

You can buy however much you want, you just have to wait. BB's discount is 10% above cost...in general its pretty close.

Delivering pizza rocks. It's decent money (for a no-skills job), and you get to sit down and listen to the radio all day.
