Anyone with Win2k and Voodoo 3000??

I'm using win2k pro, direct X 8, and I can't get DirectDraw to work.

I need it to have captions when watching DVDs. Anyone know the solution??

I couldnt get my vodoo3 to work worth crap in 2k so I traded it for a ati rage128pro which lasted me ~ 4 months till I got a Kyro2.

I'm using a V3 2000 in win2k right now..

V3 3000 in W2K - no problems at all. Weird.

Maybe you just need a clean system reinstall or something?

Using a Voodoo III 3000 here. No problems.

Using a V2 1000 (a 12MB card) connected through an 2MB ATI Mach64 (yeah - that's what you had to do with the older Voodoos). No problems even with that wacky configuration (played UT just fine).

Running a voodoo 3 2000 just fine... what does dxdiag tell you when u test direct draw?

I'm also assuming that you have downloaded the 2k drivers from 3dfx's website here. I do believe there is a difference between 3dfx's drivers and what microsoft bundled with 2k.

Yea there is a huge difference b/w the W2k drivers and 3dfx drivers. Try this site:voodoofiles.com
