Anyone with U2410's here?

Howdy!

Mine arrived a few days ago and i've been trying to calibrate it but can't get it right. Spyder2 is verifying proper colors, but compared to my old 2005fpw, the U2410 seem to have warmer colors... a slight yellow tinge in fact. It looks good on its own, but with the 2005 right beside it, the differences are quite noticeable.

Or, you could say the 2005fpw is cooler. However, i've never had problems with the 2005fpw and it matches print colors quite well (offset and digital.)

Do i have a broken U2410 or is this an inherent nature of this monitor, or wide-gamut monitors in general?

I think i've heard that the Spyder2 isn't really suitable for calibrating wide-gamut monitors like the U2410. Google agrees - you need the Spyder3 or Eye-One Display2.

Mine out of the box was prefect when i got it. I was all set on taking time to configure colors but it looks perfect. Fantastic monitor.

My only complaint was the blue power button to bright, but since i got it its not noticeable.
