Anyone with the new Nokia 8290 cell phone?

I got a question for you! You see, I just purchased this phone yesterday. Today I noticed something weird. When I hit clear or the end button... my light comes on. In the very bottom right hand corner of my telephone right behind the "s" of "Names" there seems to be a little dot or some sort. It looks like dead pixels. I want to know if this could be possible. Could you people check the phone out and tell me if it has the same exact dot or not. And one more thing, could you guys tell me what I could do if there is something wrong? I hate little things wrong with my brand new expensive things. Please help me, thank you!

I do not have a dot after the s in the bottom right hand corner. Try to lift the cover off and see if it is simply some dirt sitting on the screen. There are no dead pixels on mine.

I have the 8260 ... and I don't have anything that looks like dead pixels by the "s" in names. Maybe just take it back to whoever you bought it from, if you just bought it yesterday and haven't used it much that shouldn't be too big of a problem.

And for those who say it's too much to spend on a phone, mine was only $99.

I have the 8260 and Ive never seen any thing like you mention, I think it could all be from dust getting your phone I have some lilil partical thats stuck on the inside screen of my phone which I cannot get off

The 8290 is cheap. The expensive one is the 8890.

i had a 8890 but sold it because the mic wasn't working. Oh well, nice phone, but couldn't use it because it was broken.
