Where is the official list of things that are fixed in SP2?

I'm curious if AC3 passthrough is going to work properly.

Thanks

I'm interested in knowing if it will include the patches for VIA motherboards and the registry file that AMD and Microsoft have provided already.

Well just so you all know, an service pack that is released has all previous service packs included in it (unless they had to fix something that ended up breaking something else, then its modified) plus all bug fixes up to the release to manufacturing stage.

I don't know whats in there already but if Microsoft posted a fix for something and it was available before the release to manufacturing, it will be on it.

Just FYI :)

Anyone have any idea if SP2 will address the IRQ issues. Right now I've got this new Philips Acoustic Edge sound card that's been installed in here for 2 months now... sounding like sh*t the whole time b/c it's on the same IRQ as every other card on this friggin machine.

I tried various fixes & workarounds (Standard PC, etc) but none seem to work very well & I'm not planning on reinstalling win2k for the 5th time.

Anyone with any thoughts or comments please lemme know.

Hi Y'all,
I agree with Diesel, SP2 is out there somewhere. My main hope for installing it was the Ultra100 support. Here's what I found:
-I now get 19941 in SandraSoft. That's a pretty good improvement from 13386. I hope you all have the sam luck.
-As for the IRQ issue, that is related to ACPI and a fix can be found in the forums, however the best way is to reinstall Win2K.
-I'm not sure what you mean by the 60hz issue, but my monitor was flickering before and not now. Is that what you were hoping for?
-Both my CD and CDR are now UDMA and not PIO
I'll do a thurough benchmark and tell you all how it turns out.
As Always,
D

Other SP2 users: I lost use of my floppy recently, although I am not sure it was right after the SP2 installation.

Can you use your floppy?

(I have an ABIT VP6)
