Anyone with a Samsung x427 experience this problem?

I just got a x427 cellphone and with certain numbers I call, (like my gfs cell phone or my dads cell phone), once i dial, it wont let me quit the call, i cant hangup, i cant turn off the phone, if the conversation ends on the other side, my phone still acts like its open. I have to pull out the battery. Its only for specific numbers i call though, not all of them. Any ideas? Or is it probably just a bad phone?
 
I have the x427 and have not experienced this problem. Who do you have the phone in service with? I am on Cingular's GSM network.
