Dealer states my 2000 Jeep Cherokee's problem is normal. it's a 200 sport and everytime i step on the brakes, the steering kinda shakes. very annoying if you asked me, but i had them check the brakes, rotors and tires, but they said all 2000 cherokees do this.

on my brother's frontier, the brake rotors are a way to small so they warp easily, is that what you're talking about?

Sounds like warped rotors. Our 2000 Jeep Cherokee doesn't do that. Jeep dealerships are full of $@&31111!!. Our Jeep Cherokee's engine makes noise if we don't put the premium grade gas in it. Dealership said they all do it too.... Thats their good ole saying "Umm yeah, they all do that..."

Maybe you should check in the Jeep forums.

Steering wheel shake is NOT normal/acceptable. The only time that should occur is feed back from a bumpy road
surface.

My mom worked for a Jeep dealer and they were always putting Cherokees in for maintenance or for problems. She said the track record of the Cherokee is terrible

Warped/dirty rotors is what that sounds like. Get them turned and/or replaced and some new pads on there, and shaking will go. How severe is it? A little vibration is nothing to worry about but if you feel like the car is shaking apart (even a little), then that's bad.

Take ti to a 3rd part place (CarX, Midas, etc). They all have Free Estimates. Tell them the problem and see what they say. Then, if it's covered by warranty, go back to the dealer and tell them to fix it.

I had an 86 Cherokee Laredo and it was the biggest pile I have ever driven. Its 2.8 V6 was horrible, and the Japanese transmission wasn't much better. I think they used both in the Cherokee for only 1986, and I can see why. I had the 60mph shake on mine as well. From what I can remember (It's been a while, I was 16 at the time), it had a bad stabilizer bar and the u-joint was crap. Good luck with your Jeep. Having my 86 was enough to make me wary of older AMC and Chrysler products.
