Just turned it on when I saw this thread. This is an amazing game. Can't believe the level of teamplay considering it's not like these guys practice together all the time.

I'm loving this :Q

We need to win, though. 😱

Edit: By the way, I'm glad they have decent commentators for at least ONE olympic sport.

As long as Russia doesn't blow Finland out of water or the US somehow loses
to Belarus, the US team will win their pool on goal differential.
 
Man, Russia made us their bitch until the last period. It was sad to see them keep the puck on our side of the rink, even when we had a power play.

I'm glad we pulled it out though and evened it up. Why couldn't we have played like that all game long?
 
Yeah, I don't know why the U.S. team decided to take the second period off either.

All I have to say is a US vs. Russia Men's hockey game is infinitely more exciting than a Women's Canada vs. Sweden game (canada 11-0) that game was like watching a highschool squad.
 
Yeah , but the Women's US vs Fin game was pretty good.

How did you like all those crotch shots the Fin chick was making with her stick against the American? LOL
 
wow what a great game. after watching this game i have two statements

a) how can people possibly say hockey is boring???

b) the NHL needs to go to international rules, it makes the game so much more exciting.
 
That was truly an incredible game. I jumped when Hull scored that goal. It was nice to see Modano and Hull together again on the same team.
