I think the light heavies fought, 2 different matches, including Forrest vs Sam (Forrest demolished Sam w/o any concern with cut)...I missed the other one though.

im sure a decent college wrestling team could whip on alot of them.

They really can't. They could do decent if they learn other things, but just wrestling, and they would get whipped. College wrestlers are great athletes, but wouldn't last without any other training.

stephan bonner fought mike swick in the other fight. it was a pretty good fight. stephan was the bigger guy, and mike was the scrapper. in the first two mins, mike got stephan on the ground and slapped on a "gil-o-teen" (sorry, i cant spell that word) and it looked like stephan was gonna have to tap out. stephan eventually rolled and popped his head out, but while rolling, u could see that mike had that "gil-o-teen" on tight. stephan's face was red like a tomato and he was making these gurgling noises. anyway, he popped his head out and eventually, they made it back to their feet. towards the end of the round, mike had stephan on the ground again, but was not able to manage to mount or land any hard shots. in the last 15 secs, stephan got a triangle choke on mike... with two secs left... mike tapped out. good fight... mike had that round won, but had to tap.

sam actually put up a pretty good fight... he got a few decent kicks to forrest's head. but when forrest clenched and launched that barrage of knees, sam didn't know what the heck to do, got caught it a knee and dropped. then forrest launched the "ground and pound" (same exact position as when he fought the other dude that cut him)... ref stopped the fight becuz sam was just covering up and not returning fire nor attempting to get up.

josh k was a wrestler right? man, after he throws ppl down, he doesn't do squat. such a disappointment.

Forrest vs Sam --- I'm glad Forrest got to fight and not Bobby b/c Bobby was already eliminated earlier it would have sucked if he got another chance. Sam didn't look to bad, but like many of the people on the show was not very well rounded. Once in the clinch he couldn't defend and on the ground he was even worse....granted at that point he was probably dazed from Forrest's knees to the face. It was funny at the end b/c he said he didn't want it stopped b/c he thought he could come back....ya right, the minute he moved an arm to try and make a move he wouldn't have been clocked by Forrest.

Stephen vs Mike S --- Mike was definitely taking it to him. Was scoring more points, almost had Stephen in the guilletean, was on top most of the fight throwing some nice punches. In the end, Stephen was simply too big and strong (b/c Mike had to move up a weight class for the show).... Mike couldn't hold the guilletean b/c of stephen's size, and stephen got him in the triangle choke hold with his legs, and as Mike was waiting for the round to finish, Stephen got him in an armbar.....and like Dana said, when a guy as strong as Stephen gets you in an armbar, you tap out even if there is only 2 seconds left in the round unless you want some serious damage done.

Forrest vs Stephen should be a great fight as they were definetly the two best pure 205ers.

Diego vs Kenny should also be pretty good, I think Diego doesn't give Kenny credit b/c of Kenny's size. Although in this group I'd say there were 4 pretty good guys (Diego, Kenny, Josh, Chris L) although Josh and Chris were too one dimensional.

i've only seen kenny fight chris. based on that performance, i think diego is gonna destroy kenny.

for forrest and stephan... i think stephan will win. his fighting seems more disciplined. forrest just sorta goes buckwild swinging with his head down sometimes.

Just as an FYI,

Josh K was a National Collegiate Wrestling Champion, many of the others on the show were state champion level wrestlers as well.

Great show! I'm pumped for Saturday night.

I'm thinking Mike Swick if in the 185lb class could easily match Diego, Chris, or Josh. He was really good against Bonner.

It seems like B.Southworth was definitely in the top 3- Light Heavyweigts. He and Forrest would have been a great fight and those two should have been fighting instead of bitch ass Sam. Sam was pretty weak and should have been called out in the first few weeks of the show.

I'm not a fan of spiritual zen master Diego, the guy seems like acomplete retard who grew muscles. I would love to see Kenny destroy him, but I don;t think it will happen. I know these guys have been training for the last few months on their own so I'm hoping Kenny brings a more muscualr body to the party this Saturday night.

It was bad watching Josh get on top of Diego(last week) an then DIEGO GIVES UP HIS FRIGGIN BACK........TWICE!!!! and still Josh could not do anything. I was sorely disappointed in that for sure.

I guess the pure wrestlers who train in that aspect day in and day out seem to have it ingrained in their heads how to fight. What I mean is, they are so disciplined that sometimes(hell, a whole lot of times) when they have an opponent on the ground and ripe for the submitting, they cannot close the deal because they are not used to that way of fighting.

This is what makes Randy Couture so dangerous. A world class wrestler who can finish by either beating you down or grinding you into the mat.

Oh, I haven't watched last nites show yet, but I am glad to see weasel-dick Sam get clubbed. Good for him, the little prick.

Peace
