Anyone watching the 9/11 memorial service at Ground Zero?

Yea yea, I know most are sick of media coverage and sensationalism of 9/11 every year.

But I found myself watching it. One thing struck out to me is Bush. He seems genuinely touched by the event, reminding him of what American went through in the eyes of a commander in chief a year ago.

no.

sticking with my original 9/11 commemoration plan of doing things that Osama bin Laden would hate.

had bacon and eggs for breakfast, and I'm going to watch Fiddler on the Roof later. I might also run out and get a pastrami on rye sandwich for lunch.

We were out at breakfast and they had one of the networks on with the coverage - about halfway through the singing of the national anthem, it cut to commercial. I'm guessing someone is out a job come Monday.

I'm assuming considering the current administration you mean FOR PLAYING any of the national anthem at all?

Although it's the 10 year anniversary, the programs they have been showing on TV the past couple days is no different then the programs they show every year at the anniversary of 911. I just turn the channel to something else. Nothing to see here... Move along.

Paul Simon, performed the Sound of Silence.

I had to google the original significance behind the song. It was President Kennedy's assassination.
The new water fountain/fall memorial is nice.
