Anyone that has played the piano for a long time can compose a song "involuntarily"
It's called improvising.
I saw my friend do it, and I was stunned. It's amazing stuff, but it's not amazing that it takes a prodigy to do it.
My friend says half the people at his piano recitals don't memorize their music, and just improvise the rest, and no one can tell.
I'll be impressed when I hear his work. Anyone have a link to his songs? 🙂

Can your friend turn the score upside down and play it in the opposite clef. (Treble --> Bass or Bass --> Treble)

Easily.
And he says his friends are better than him at improvising too! :Q
Last time I watched him play a 12 minute piece, and the notes were like 160 beat on 32nd notes cut time. That's like fricken 300WPM.
